Using prayer beads is simply another meditative way to help you centre during your prayer time. You will learn the steps and outline of the Anglican prayer beads as an introduction. The pattern is specific, but the choices of colour, type of beads, and combinations are endless to your creativity. To further personalize the prayer practice, you will discover how to create your own prayers using scripture, breath prayers or inspirational messages.

From ancient times, people have used various ways to track their prayers offered to God. Some examples are pebbles, strings of knots or beads on a cord. They are not to be considered a decorative piece of jewellery but a sacred and highly revered spiritual tool that aids concentration and provides a focal point during contemplative prayer. Practically every major religious expression of faith around the world uses a form of prayer beads. These include Christian denominations like the Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Anglican and Lutheran Churches.
